What is lip augmentation?
Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure in which a natural (animal or bodily) or artificial filler is injected into the lips to make them fuller. Depending on your wishes and situation, a cosmetic filler, an implant or lipofilling is used.
This temporarily but significantly improves the size and shape of the lips.
When will you benefit from lip augmentation?
If you would like a fuller mouth with a more sensual appearance or you notice that your lips have lost their elastic shape due to age or external factors, you may benefit from lip augmentation or lip correction. This treatment restores the size and shape of your lips for a considerable period of time, depending on the number of treatments. Your narrow or thin lips will become fuller and more beautiful.

During treatment, a filler is injected into your lips. These are usually fat-based or other known fillers. With lipofilling, limited liposculpture is first performed to gather the filler.
After the treatment, the result is immediately visible. The lips might be temporarily a bit swollen so to see the final definitive result, you will have to wait a few days. Depending on which zones you have chosen, you can expect the following effects: the edge of the lips is slightly redder, the lips look healthy and hydrated, the inside of the lips is slightly more visible and the lips have more volume and a sensual look.
You will experience minimal pain after the treatment as we use sophisticated and modernised injection techniques.
Depending on the filler used, allergic reactions are possible. You might also notice some bruising or slight swelling of the lips during the first few days. If you suffer easily from cold sores, it is best to tell the specialist in advance. Then the specialist can take preventive action against them.
It is also normal that the body will start absorbing the injected filler after a while. For a permanent change in the shape of the lips, it is therefore recommended to undergo several treatments.
