In 1997, Dr Lemmens specialised at KU Leuven (Gasthuisberg) in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery.
In 1998, he was recognised as a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon by the Federal Public Health Service. He currently works at the KLINA Hospital in Brasschaat and the Heilig Hart Hospital in MOL, where he has been head of the Department of Plastic Surgery since 2000.

Special Qualification

After his training, Dr Lemmens decided to focus mainly on ESTHETIC CHIRURGY, his great passion.
He was one of the Belgian forerunners in performing the minimally invasive face lift ( today’s MACS’ lift). He learned this technique in 2000 from Dr Daniel Fleming (Syndney, Australia) and has since performed it on a large number of patients with great success.
He also refined the technique of LIPOSUCTION UNDER LOCAL VERDOVING ( you can read more about our technique ‘ LIPOSCULPTURE ’ here) and was PIONER OF LASER LIPOLYSE IN BELGIUM. Thanks to his extensive experience, Dr Lemmens is known as an expert in liposculpture at home and abroad. He has been invited several times as a guest speaker at national and international conferences and organised several workshops on laser lipolysis in his private clinics.

Professional Experience

Dr Lemmens is attached to the KLINA Hospital in Brasschaat ( since 1999) and the Heilig Hartziekenhuis in Mol ( since 1998) where he is head of the department of Plastic Surgery. SInds April 2015, Dr Lemmens is also a staff member of the prestigious PYRAMIDE KLINIK AM SEE in ZÜRICH ( member of the Leading Swiss Hospitals). In 2016, together with Dr De Smet, he founded the HAIR and BODY atelier there specialising in hair transplants and liposculpture and the FACE atelier focusing mainly on wrinkle correction. Dr Lemmens is also responsible for all LASERCHIRURGY performed in these private clinics.

In 2010, he set up his first PRIVÈKLINIEK in Mol ( www.lemmenserwin.be), equipped with a fully equipped operating theatre. The principle is simple: providing personalised care, tailored to the specific needs and wishes of the patient, in a relaxing, private setting. Accordingly, a TREATMENT PLAN IS ESTABLISHED ON YOUR DIMENSION. Dr Lemmens and his experienced team accompany you personally from the first consultation to the final treatment and subsequent aftercare.

In 2014, Dr Lemmens associated with his wife – who is also a plastic surgeon – Dr De Smet. Together, they decided to expand this successful concept to the Antwerp region. They found the ideal location in idyllic Schilde , an oasis of peace and greenery a short distance from Antwerp, Turnhout and the Dutch border. They christened their new project ‘ BELLEVUE CLINIC’ , a reference to the name of the adjacent neighbourhood that opens onto the municipal park.

To avoid confusion, the location in Mol was christened ‘BELLEVUE CLINIC MOL’ and the one in Schilde ‘BELLEVUE CLINIC SCHILDE’.
